About TAI - Timeline

After months of iterations, feedback, and refinement, TAI has become a complete solution. It’s not just GDPR-compliant, it’s visually tailored for classroom use, thoughtfully designed with accessibility and simplicity at its core. Whether you’re marking on the go, tracking student progress, or generating AI-powered feedback, TAI is now ready to be placed directly into the hands of teachers across the UK.

Ready for the World

During testing, it became obvious: teachers needed something fast, flexible, and accessible. That meant mobile. I pivoted the project to include a lightweight mobile app that could capture, submit, and review student work from anywhere. It turned TAI from a marking tool into a portable marking assistant — exactly what the modern classroom demands.

Teachers Don’t Sit Still — Why Should We?

Once the concept was clear, I began building the first working version of TAI on desktop. The original design featured an olive green color palette, but it quickly became clear that it didn’t match the clean, trustworthy look needed for an educational tool. This stage was all about learning — testing what worked, what didn’t, and finding the visual identity that felt right for teachers

From Idea to Interface

TAI began as a spark of frustration and love. Watching my father, a dedicated teacher, spend every evening buried in marking books — sometimes even asking for help —

made me realise just how broken the system was.

I knew technology could do better. That moment, somewhere between red pens and dinner plates, was the beginning of TAI.

The Moment Everything Changed

I actually studied Computer Science at university, which gave me the skills and confidence to eventually turn the idea of TAI into a real product — even though I had no clue it would become a business at the time.
